Refurbishment for a local convenience store

A refurbishment for a local convenience store in the tile cross area.

With new legislation on energy conservation everyone is looking on ways to cut their energy bills. Coverstion to new LED lighting can help you to acheive this. In the Case study below the Excisting lighting had a energy consumption of nearly 5kW per hour, where as the new LED panels have a 1.2kW per hour. On an average unit price for electrical energy of £0.16 per hour this can soon mount up over the year.

In this example we have, kW per hour times unit price times hours of use times operational days (5 x 0.16 =0.8) so £0.80 per hour, (0.8 x 17 = 13.6) so £13.6 per day, (13.6 x 365 = 4964) so £4964 per year.

With the new LED panels installed we do the same calculation; (1.2 x 0.16 = 0.19, 0.19 x 17 = 3.23, 3.23 x 365 = 1179) so a total of £1179 per year, thats a difference of £3785, this is a massive saving on both energy and operational cost of running a buisness. With saving such as this most jobs can be recovered with in two years of completion.
